COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course is five days in duration and designed for technicians responsible for the operation, maintenance and commissioning of the Siemens S7 PLC product line. Students will be taught basic skills in the use of the STEP ® 7 programming language, enable them to debug programs, make program corrections and build programs.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:
Basic knowledge of PLC control systems, PLC programming, the use of a PC running Windows.

COURSE CONTENT:

•   Simatic® Step®7 System Overview.
•   PLC program structure with STEP®7.
•   Simatic® Step®7 tools for programming, debugging and program testing.
•   Simatic® Step®7 online functions.
•   Hardware configuration and parameterization of modules.
•   Data types.
•   Analog value processing.


Using the Siemens STEP®7 programming software (Simatic® STEP®7) exercises will be performed at each step to strengthen the student’s skill.
To support the exercise programs each student should have a PC to use during the training class equipped with Windows XP (Service Pack 2) as an operating system.
We will provide Siemens Step 7 that is fully functional for 14 Days and a software PLC (SoftPLC, compatible with CPU 416).
We also will install “Wonderware InTouch” to support input and output PLC data.
